Hello,

Building a new home and selling our current one. Timing wise it appears we won't be making one move. We are considering staying in a Residence Inn. We did this for 6 weeks 11 years ago when we moved across country and our home wasn't ready. At that time it wasn't by choice and wasn't ideal as we had three young kids. Because it was a move for work my husbands company negotiated a monthly rate for us to stay there.

Does anyone know if you can negotiate a rate for long periods of stay?

For anyone wondering why we don't "just rent an apartment" ....it is hard to find a month to month lease in our area. By the time we figure in utilities, cable, rent etc. math wise we figure we may save money.

Thanks,

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
